Efka® PL 5520

Efka® PL 5520 (old name: Dehysol® BS 20 N) by BASF is a butyl ester of a special fatty acid mixture. Used as a secondary plasticizer. Brings a better "surface touch" and scratch resistance. Improves the solvent release, the sanding and stacking properties. Provides good flexibility and drying properties. Efka® PL 5520 is used in wood and furniture coatings based on nitrocellulose, as well as acid-curing one and two-component finishes; paper varnishes, leather finishes.
