Dispex® AA 4140

Dispex® AA 4140 (Old name: Dispex® N 40) by BASF is a highly effective, low viscosity dispersing agent for water-based coatings. It provides low polydispersity leading to most efficient dispersing properties and liquefying effect. Suitable for inorganic fillers and pigments. It provides improved storage stability of both pigment dispersion and formulated paint when compared with inorganic dispersing agents. Dispex® AA 4140 is recommended for low-VOC systems, high PVC paints, matt, interior, silk, semi-gloss, wood paints and stains, gloss paints as well as in plasters, exterior and elastic paints. Recommended dosage level is 0.5%-2% on total pigment weight.
