CYCAT® 602 Catalyst

CYCAT® 602 Catalyst by allnex is a strong organic acid catalyst which has been blocked with an amine. It will reduce the rate of cure compared to unblocked systems. It is recommended to accelerate the curing reaction between hydroxyl, carboxyl, or amide functional groups with amino crosslinking agent while providing improved storage stability. CYCAT® 602 Catalyst is used in water-borne and solvent-borne systems. Recommended for can & container coatings, automotive coating formulations and general purpose industrial coatings. The recommended level at >150°C and 125-150°C cured temperature is 1.0% and 2.0% respectively based on the total resin solid. The shelf life of this product is one year.
