Silicone free defoaming substance. Prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring, pumping etc. Has very good compatibility properties, which makes it extremely suitable for use in clear and high gloss coatings. Also suitable for thick clear coatings applied by conventional spraying where dry film transparency is very important. Suits for solvent-based wood finishes where foaming is a problem when applied by spraying. Especially suitable for systems where transparency (in-can and dry film) is important and still give good defoaming effect like polyurethane coatings for wood except acrylic based, acid-curing coatings for wood and etching/wash primers, NC lacquers for wood. Addition and dosage: 0.1- 1.0% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.30 – 0.50% based on total formulation.
