HSD-100 Series distributed by Advent Silica act as a binder and surface modifier. They consist of alkaline, aqueous dispersions of colloidal silica, with the particle size 100 nm.

They are used in refractory materials to improve mechanical strength and resistance to thermal shock.
In fire-resistant glass, they enhance the glass's thermal stability, distribute thermal stresses evenly, and maintain higher viscosity under heat.

HSD-100 Series have a shelf life of 12 months.
