ADDAPT® CODIS™ BIO

ADDAPT® CODIS™ BIO by ADDAPT Chemicals is a VOC/SVOC-free dispersing-, neutralizing- and buffering (pH control) agent for Ecolabel certified paints. It consists of a proprietary water-based formulation. It exhibits pH stability while neutralizing carboxylic acid groups in low odor, water-borne systems. It enhances compatibility with pigments, wetting and in-can corrosion (flash rust) protection. It offers high gloss, good water resistance, improved storage strength & open time, increased tinting strength and non-yellowing properties. ADDAPT® CODIS™ BIO finds application in coatings and printing inks. It promotes the acceptance of universal colorants in combination with ADDAPT DISP 600. It is >70% based on renewable resources and >75% biodegradable under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions. It is REACH, EINECS, TSCA, ENCS, AICS, DSL, ECL and PICCS registered. It is compliant with FDA and the detergent directive EG/648/2004.
