Mixture of methacrylated mono-and di-phosphate ester. A solvent free UV-curable additive for paints, lacquers and printing inks. Acts as a co-polymerisable plasticizer, defoamer, adhesion promoter and flame retardant for water based UV curable systems. Offers easy handling and low viscosity. Can be used for crosslinking with melamine and isocyanate resins for automotive topcoats. Provides very good potlife, steric protection against hydrolysis (good acid resistance), water repellency (hydrophobicity) and very good pigment wetting. Can be copolymerised with other acrylic monomers and styrene. Exhibits flexibilizing effect and some degree of crosslinking without gel formation.
