Waxes > Carnauba Waxes

Carnauba waxes are derived from the leaves of carnauba palm found mainly in Northeast Brazil. These waxes are hard and extremely durable. Carnauba waxes offer outstanding slip, reasonable mar resistance, good hardness and exceptional clarity to paints & Coatings. Unlike synthetic waxes, carnauba waxes are expensive and their color may limit their applications too. Carnauba waxes are extensively used in automotive paints, polishes for instruments, floor & furniture. Being FDA approved, they are also used in food coating applications.
