Trinseo announces the launch of LIGOS™ C 9484. It is a vinyl acrylic latex binder designed for architectural coatings. Trinseo is a specialty materials solutions provider.
The product will be introduced to the market alongside Trinseo’s full portfolio of innovative latex binder solutions at the American Coatings Show in Indianapolis, IN, from 30th April to 2nd May 2024, at Booth 1974.
Suitable for Architectural Coating Applications
Designed for architectural coating applications, LIGOS™ C 9484 combines performance and flexibility. The emulsion delivers strong hiding performance, leveling properties, and excellent washability, making coating applications extremely durable.
LIGOS™ C 9484 also boasts high scrub resistance and allows for the easy touch-up of unwanted marks, scuffs, and scratches. Furthermore, the binder meets ASTM D4828-94 testing requirements and is easily cleaned when soiled with common household materials.
Moreover, the emulsion offers flexibility in formulation, allowing you to meet the needs of your most demanding coating applications. LIGOS™ C 9484 can be formulated across the PVC spectrum, including flat to semi-gloss finishes. Additionally, the formulation can include several different solvents, pigments, additives, and other raw materials to achieve a high-performing coating.
