Showcasing Light Stabilizers for WB Systems
Currently, the "
oil to water" campaign is being carried out in full swing around the world, as an important environmental protection solution, water-based coating technology has made significant progress in most raw material fields.
However, the vast majority of weather resistant additives used in current coatings are solvent-based and cannot be used in water-based systems. Therefore, Rianlon developed a series of waterborne products of UV absorbers and light stabilizers.

U-pack® UV-7751W – An excellent general-purpose UVA/HALS blend, which is a highly effective liquid light stabilizer exclusively used in coatings which can slow down the aging phenomenon of discoloration, loss of light, cracking caused by light. Its liquid nature makes bulk delivery very convenient, and it can be used in a variety of water-based varnishes, color paints.

U-pack® UV-7740W - A liquid Hydroxyphenyl-triazine (HPT) UV absorber used for waterborne coatings, which provides excellent thermal stability, good photo-stability and limited migration. It also has excellent freeze resistance, which is convenient for storage and transportation.

U-pack® UV-7753W - A hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) specially used for waterborne coatings. The low basicity of U-pack® UV-7753W makes it particularly suitable for systems containing aggressive media such as acids species, catalyst residues.

Powder coatings are solvent-free, and as a more trusted "
4E" (efficient, energy-saving, environmentally friendly, and economical) coating, they have rapidly emerged in the coating family in recent years.
At ECS 2023, Rianlon will present a triazine-based high-performance UV absorbent for powder coatings:

RIASORB® UV-405 - A solid triazine-based UV absorber for coatings. It is designed to meet the high performance and durability requirements of acrylic powder coatings for transportation and industrial applications.
In addition, in response to the industry's unique problems of high-temperature yellowing and flue gas discoloration, Rianlon has also launched a customized series solution of U-pack® products.
