Lightweight fillers are used extensively in applications such as joint compounds, insulating paints, elastomeric roof and high reflective coatings, polyester putties, adhesives and sealants, mastics, underbody coatings, and many cementitious applications such as tile adhesives, renders, grouts, insulating mortar, and structural concrete.
