The rising environmental concerns have led several companies to proactively adopt sustainable chemistry approach. The concept of green chemistry in Paints & Coatings have evolved over the years. The holistic approach not only focuses on reducing the use of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) but also enables efficiency enhancement, waste minimization, use of renewable raw materials and so on.
In this presentation, we are explaining how Soujanya has adopted some of these Green Practices in designing, manufacturing and supplying color solutions to the paint industry with.

Amol is a qualified paint technologist with Masters in Marketing Management and alumni of Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. He is been associated with the paint industry since last 22 years and worked with companies like Asian Paints and BASF in their R&D centers prior to joining Soujanya Color. Pigment Dispersion and Application of pigments into paint and coatings is his core area of expertise. Amol travels extensively internationally for customer meetings and new business development activities. Under his leadership, Soujanya has achieved many milestones like Most Innovative Partner 2019 award from TATA Group companies, GreenPro Certification award from Indian Green Build Council. He is playing an instrumental role in effective implementation of company’s policy of offering planet friendly and sustainable color solutions to various end applications like paints & Coatings, Wood Coatings, Floor Coatings, Printing Inks, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Polymer Composites, PVC, Construction Chemicals etc.
