Coatings ingredients supplied by Cabot
CAB-O-SIL® fumed silicas are powders that are available with either hydrophobic or hydrophilic surfaces. CAB-O-SIL® products deliver rheology control, mechanical enhancement and anti-corrosive performance in a wide variety of coatings applications. They also increase ink viscosity, provide thixotropy, prevent its absorption in very porous surfaces, prevent sagging and curing during applications and also prevent the settling in heavy loads, such as for pigments.
