Short oil epoxy ester based on conjugated drying fatty acids. Used as a binder in high quality zinc rich and anti corrosive paints, airdrying and stoving primers and top coats and for screen printing inks. Offers very good water resistance, good adhesion on a variety of plastic substrates, rapid drying, good chemical resistance and compatibility with unplasticized urea and melamine formaldehyde resins, short-oil alkyd resin and phenolic modified rosin esters.
