EPON™ Resin 8111

EPON™ Resin 8111 by Westlake Epoxy is a low viscosity epoxy resin. It displays exceptionally rapid reaction rates with aliphatic amine curing agents over a broad temperature range. This grade possesses good wetting characteristics, strong bonding to various substrates and reduced tendency to form amine carbonate in thin film applications. It has hard, tough cures exhibiting mechanical, electrical, and water resistance properties similar to those normally expected from conventional liquid epoxy resins. EPON™ Resin 8111 is used in various high build coating applications such as two component spray applied traffic striping and wear resistant surfacing. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
