VINNAPAS® AF 474

VINNAPAS® AF 474 by Wacker is an aqueous dispersion of a hydroxy-functional acrylate copolymer. Adheres extremely well to metals and many polar plastics and forms a transparent coating at room temperature. Exhibits thermoplastic properties. However if cross-linked with suitable reactants via the hydroxyl group, it forms a film that resist heat-sealing even at high temperatures. Preferably used in combination with melamine resins, for producing heat seal-resistant coatings with good water resistance, especially on aluminum foil. Offer excellent printability. VINNAPAS® AF 474 is suitable for printing with aqueous, acrylate-based printing-ink systems as well with NC- or UV-inks. Also recommended to be used in industrial coatings, packaging coatings, plastic coatings and heat-resistant coatings. **This product is available only in Europe.
