SILRES® REN 70-M

SILRES® REN 70-M by Wacker is a phenyl methyl silicone resin free of aromatic solvents. Designed for weather and heat resistant coatings. Uses 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate as a solvent, which is biodegradable. When combined with suitable pigments and fillers, it offers extreme thermal stability. Offers good hardness & flexibility and full chemical curability. Protects metal surfaces from corrosion at high operating temperatures or rapid temperature fluctuations. Can be used in coatings on barbecues, chimneys, wood-burning stoves or gas-fired incinerators. SILRES® REN 70-M is suitable for use as a binder in coatings for industrial plants, mufflers, pipework and engine parts.
