VICTREX™ PEEK VICOTE™ F804Blk by Victrex is a black colored, linear, aromatic polyetheretherketone polymer-based liquid dispersion. It has been specifically formulated to provide a resilient coating with high wear and abrasion resistance on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates such as carbon steel, cast steel and aluminium. These properties are retained at high temperatures where other coatings would potentially fail. Its typical properties are high continuous use temperature of 260°C, excellent wear, abrasion and cut through resistance at these high temperatures, combined with excellent chemical and radiation resistance. It has a low level of extractables and inherently flame retardant. It prevents flash rusting. VICTREX™ PEEK VICOTE™ F804Blk complies with the compositional requirements of regulation 21 CFR 175.300 for resinous and polymeric coatings of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
