UNITHANE IC-901

UNITHANE IC-901 by Union Specialties is a soft, high gloss, APEO-free, water-based polyurethane dispersion (PUD) containing NMP. Exhibits low volatile compound (<100 g/l) with very good adhesion and flexibility. Shows resistance to water, acetic acid, ammonia, 2-propanol, toluene and gasoline. It can be enhanced by blending with other Union polyurethane dispersions or by the use of external crosslinking (like polyfunctional aziridines, water dispersible isocyanates or polyfunctional carbodiimides). UNITHANE IC-901 is suitable for use in a formulated primer coat for concrete, graphic arts, textiles and selected plastics. It has a shelf life of 18 months.
