VYLON® GK880

VYLON® GK880 by Toyobo is a highly polymerized and amorphous copolyester resin. Exhibits high glass transition temperature, good weather and corrosion resistance, pigment dispersing ability, formability and bending ability. Shows good adhesion on metals, polyester films and PVC (polyvinyl chloride) films. It crosslinks with melamine, isocyanates, epoxies, etc. when tough and durable coating layer is required. It can be dissolved in methyl ethyl ketone, toluene and general purpose organic solvents. VYLON® GK880 is used in inks and coil, can, magnetic and PCM (precoated metal) coatings.
