VYLON® BX1001

Highly polymerized and amorphous copolyester resin. It has low glass transition temperature and vibration damping property. Exhibits weather resistance, corrosion resistance, pigment dispersing ability, formability and bending ability. Shows good adhesion on metals, polyester films and PVC (polyvinyl chloride) films. Cross-links with melamine, isocyanates, epoxies, etc. when tough and durable coating layer is required. Suitable for inks. Applications include coil, can, magnetic, and PCM (precoated metal) coatings.
