Silikoftal® HTF

Silicone polyester resin. Used as a solvent-based binder for production of decorative, heat-resistant coatings for cookware, household appliances, and in non-stick coatings in combination with PTFE. Offers good adhesion. Provides low thermoplasticity and high elasticity. Combines the properties of silicones such as heat resistance, weathering resistance and low surface tension with those of polyesters such as low thermoplasticity, high flexibility and good pigmentability. Main applications include inner and outer coatings for cooking utensils and bakeware which comply with FDA/BfR regulations. It can be stored for 6 months.
