PLEXTOL™ A 6474

PLEXTOL™ A 6474 by Synthomer is an aqueous dispersion of an acrylic copolymer with heterogeneous particle morphology. It is a binder for exterior and interior wood applications. It is designed specifically for low VOC waterborne pigmented paints/enamels (gloss, semi-gloss). It can be used for wood stains, transparent lacquers and priming paints. It offers fast hardness development and good film formation properties. The paints based on PLEXTOL™ A 6474 demonstrate very good outdoor durability and resistance properties such as water chemical and block resistance as well as very good mechanical properties (elongation, strength) and adhesion to various substrates including wet adhesion over aged alkyd paints. It has a shelf life of 6 months.
