RUCOTE® XP 9014 by Stepan Company is carboxyl functional polyester resin. It provides good flow when cured with TGIC at 93:7 resin- or with Primid® XL-552 at 95:5 resin to curative ratio. It improves the smoothness of higher viscosity carboxyl functional polyester by combining both resins into the binder system. RUCOTE® XP 9014 finds application in powder coatings.
