CHS-Alkyd M 552 WX 60

A medium oil alkyd-polyester of pentaerythritol/glycerol and phthalic acid modified by linseed oil and synthetic resin, delivered as medium viscous solution in a mixture of solvents white spirit (W)/xylene (X), containing 60% of resin. Used as a binder for solventborne coatings applications like for manufacturing of air-drying ground coating compositions, for steel work and construction materials, for fast drying anti-corrosion primers. Exhibits solubility in white spirit, xylene, toluene, esters, ethers and esters of glycol, miscibility with drying oils, medium oil length drying alkyd resins and maleic resins modified by rosin. Its shelf life is 12 months.
