CHS-Alkyd AL 3961

Short oil alkyd resin based on linoleic rich fatty acids. It is delivered as a very high viscous 75% solution in butyl glycol and butanol and has an oil length of approx 29%. Offers high hardness, excellent flexibility, corrosion resistance and fast drying at room temperature. Recommended for fast drying water or solventborne primers, topcoats and one-layer-coatings for industrial application (air-drying, force drying, baking with melamine resins). Also suitable for spraying, dipping and flooding systems.
