MRG -1305

Rosin modified maleic acid resin. An irregular transparent solid obtained through esterification by glycerol and adduct of rosin and maleic anhydride. Found to be soluble in coal tar, ester and turpentine oil, insoluble in alcoholic solvents as well as partially soluble in petroleum solvents. It mixes well with vegetable oils too. Exhibits light color, resistance to yellowing and heat. Shows good adhesion power. Recommended for production of phenolic paints (through polymerization with vegetable oils) and road marking paints
