SiliXan® T 500

SiliXan® T 500 by SiliXan is a solvent-free, low viscous liquid, inorganic-organic silicone-based grade. Acts as a anti-corrosive agent. Exhibits good chemical- & stain resistance, and high temperature- & chemical stability. It can be diluted with polar solvents like alcohols (ethanol, isopropanol), acetate or glycol ether (butyl glycol, dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether), and it can not be diluted with water. It can be cured between 150 and 250°C using a suited curing catalyst like SiliXan Cat 210 for crosslinking. Shows compatibility with alkyd, acrylate or silicone resins. SiliXan® T 500 is used in formulation of non-yellowing coatings for steel, aluminium, stainless steel & glass, temperature curing high temperature stable coatings and solvent-based lacquers or paints. Complies with EINECS, TSCA (USA), ENCS (Japan) and REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The shelf life of the product is 6 months.
