Hydroxyethyl cellulose. Provides effects like thickening, pseudoplastic properties, water retention, protective colloid effects, film forming and a high level of salt tolerance. Offers high gloss, high pigment compatibility, high thickening effect and high wet scrub resistance. Exhibits moderate water retention, anti-spattering, and pseudoplasticity. Used for paints and coatings applications like interior paints, exterior paints, and silicon resin paints.
