KR-5234 by Shin-Etsu is a polyester resin-modified silicone resin. It imparts excellent chemical resistance. KR-5234 is applicable for solvent-based heat resistant coatings. It retains the glossy appearance even under high temperature conditions. It can be emulsified in propylene glycol monomethylether acetate (PGMAC), 3-methyl-3-methoxybutyl acetate (MMBAC) and isopropyl alcohol. It is classified under UN-1866 specification.
