KF-2012

KF-2012 is a medium chain length, single-end methacrylic-based, modified silicone resin by Shin-Etsu. It is used together with solvent-based acrylic resin. It provides good heat-, wear- & water resistance. It imparts water repellency & flexibility. It offers improved film forming ability, copolymerization ability, adhesion, high hardness, weatherability and room-temperature curability. It is recommended for heavy duty anti-corrosion, exterior building (chemical plant) and automotive paint (car, train). It is listed in TSCA. The dosage level of KF-2012 is 0.5-20%.
