POLYTONE PA 302

Polyamide resin based on polymeric fatty acids. It is a co-solvent grade and non reactive resin. Exhibits excellent resistance to grease and water. Provides good glossy sharp prints. Possesses excellent adhesion to treated polyethylene and other plastics. Offers good flexibility and very good solvent release properties. Shows good solubility with n-butanol, n-propanol, cellosolve and mixtures of these with aromatic hydrocarbons like toluene and xylene. Partially soluble in iso-propanol. Insoluble in ethanol, aliphatic- & aromatic hydrocarbons. Compatible with ketonic-, maleic-, reduced phenolic- and pure phenolic resins. Partially compatible with alkyds. Used in flexographic- and gravure printing inks.
