Rosin modified penta-esterified phenol formaldehyde resin. It has high melting point and high molecular weight. Exhibits excellent gloss. Provides sharp prints with excellent press stability. Offers good solubility with aliphatic- & aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and varnish oils. Used in quickset/ sheet fed-, heat set-, offset printing-, flexographic-, gravure- and printing inks. Applications include varnishes.
