POLYTONE ABR 1044

POLYTONE ABR 1044 by Polyols & Polymers is thermoplastic acrylic resin. It is polymer or copolymer of acrylic monomers for use in solvent applied lacquers, inks and specialty coatings. It is thermally stable up to 180-235°C. It gives water white transparent films having high gloss & hardness in coatings applications. It provides excellent abrasion-, alkalis diluted acid-, alcohol-, corrosive- & oxidizing atmospheres resistance and weatherability with low pigment reactivity. It has a wide range of molecular weight, functionality and flexibility. It shows outstanding resistance towards ultraviolet degradation and discoloration on heating. POLYTONE ABR 1044 is well suited for the decorative and protective coatings for metals, plastics, wood, concrete and paper. It is also used in zinc oxide binders, toners, overprint and silkscreen ink applications.
