Partially esterified rosin modified with fumaric acid. It exhibits solubility in alcohols and ketones. Possesses partial solubility in ethyl acetate and aromatic solvents. Offers insolubility in aliphatic solvents. Shows compatibility with nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate butyrate and other rosin derivatives. Recommended for formulation of water-, alcohol- and solvent based flexographic inks.
