Glycerol ester of partially dimerized rosin. It is hard, thermoplastic resin. Delivers good initial color and shows oxidation resistance, good solution properties and emulsion stability, broad solubility and compatibility ranges. It promotes hardness and water resistance. Used as modifier for lacquers and varnishes.
