Pen-cote™ D-LV

Pen-cote™ D-LV by Ingredion is a naturally derived, ready-to-use binder. Designed for paper coating applications. It can be re-wetted using the available water in pigment slurries to build coating solids. Its design at the molecular level promotes optimal cross linking to achieve high binder strength. Provides a uniform coating for equal or better performance at the printer. Increases the flexibility of coating formulations. Pen-cote™ D-LV meets FDA 21 CFR.176.170, FDA 21 CFR 176.180 and BfR Recommendation XXXVI. Improves water holding by 40-50% with less binder migration for better coating for a better looking sheet or board.
