Pliolite® AC4

Pliolite® AC4 by Synthomer is a solvent-based, pre-crosslinked, rheological thixotropic, styrene-acrylate copolymer. It forms durable, tough abrasion and chemically resistant films that have excellent UV resistance and exterior weathering properties. It exhibits excellent mechanical stability, alkali- and water resistance. It provides adhesion and viscosity for rheological purposes. It is often used in combination with Pliolite® AC80 that creates thick masonry coatings that can be applied at 200 μm. It is applicable in intumescent-, metal-, roof coatings, concrete protection-, anti-corrosion-, exterior paints, efflorescence resistance, industrial steel- and metal primers. Pliolite® AC4 has a shelf life of 36 months.
