Pliotec® SC105 by Synthomer is an anionic, self-crosslinking pure acrylic latex with low VOC and coalescent demand. It offers excellent water-, alkali- and early water moisture-, UV- and efflorescence resistance as well as good blush and early block resistance. It provides good exterior weatherability and adhesion to wood, concrete and masonry substrates. It possesses very good hot-tire pickup resistance and excellent mechanical stability. It is suitable for formulations below 50 g/l VOC (US EPA, excluding water). It is designed for water-based deck-, concrete coatings, stains, primers, garage and porch floor paints. Pliotec® SC105 has a shelf life of 12 months.
