Acrylate. Acts as an aqueous, self-cross-linking polymer dispersion. It possesses excellent resistance against polar solvents. It allows the formulation of clear and pigmented coats showing a high hardness, very good chemical resistance and excellent hydrophobicity. It is a resin for the production of low-odor and solvent-free coatings. It is used in parquet and furniture coatings. It is also used for transparent or pigmented wood primers for indoor and outdoor applications. Due to the high blocking resistance, it can be used in window and door coatings.
