NISSO-PB (GQ-1000)

NISSO-PB (GQ-1000) by Nippon Soda is a polyfunctional polybutadiene resin. It is comprised of a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group introduced to its main chain through air oxidation of a both-end hydroxyl group-terminated polybutadiene. It is derived by polymerizing butadiene using a living anionic polymerization technique. Curing is done by TP resin, isocyanate curing and heat curing. Offers superior water resistance, chemical resistance, electrical characteristics, mechanical strength as well as heat resistance because its polymer structure is composed of carbon and hydrogen. Also offers high reactivity, excellent storage stability and various derivatives containing functional groups. NISSO-PB (GQ-1000) is designed for deposition primers, wood paints, corrosion-resistant paint, coating agents and electrical insulating coatings.
