CO28X70 by MPC-PROKIM Chemicals is a short-oil alkyd resin based on coconut fatty acid. It exhibits very light color, very high gloss, gloss retention, excellent hardness and good resistance against yellowing. It is recommended for stoving enamels, transparent & pigmented polyurethane varnishes and nitrocellulosic varnishes. CO28X70 shows limited compatibility with hydroxyl acrylic resins and compatible with short oil alkyds, cellulose nitrate, aliphatic and aromatic polyisocyanate.
