Rovene® 4817 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a crosslinkable, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion. It is a binder with medium hand and good strength properties. It can be compounded to high solids using clays, whiting and alumina trihydrate as fillers. It shows high drying rates and has good adhesion to a wide variety of fibers. Rovene® 4817 is recommended for textile back coatings.
