Ecronova® KDA 800

Water based emulsion of a styrene/acrylic acid ester copolymer. The emulsifier system is anionic in nature. It is APEO- and solvent-free. Contains no ammonia and formaldehyde. Shows high CPVC with given filler and pigments. Offers intern plastification, excellent pigment hiding power, abrasive stability, flexibility, excellent adhesion, hydrolytic stability, resistance to alkali and scrub with only slight yellowing. The emulsion is compatible with the most common additives, pigments as well as pigment preparations. It can be combined with other emulsions too. Polyurethane thickeners are highly recommended for the system. Suitable for matt paints in the CPVC area with low VOC. Can also be used in silicate paints and plasters because of the compatibility with silica.
