Macekote 8538

Aliphatic polyester polyurethane dispersion in water. Exhibits excellent impact- and alkali resistance, adhesion and weatherability characteristics. Yields clear, glossy, tough but flexible films. Produces thermosetting films when baked. Is crosslinkable and can be crosslinked with C-70 crosslinker 4% by weight on wet basis for enhanced performance. Applications include exterior and interior coatings for wood, plastic, metal and other rigid or flexible substrates. It is listed with TSCA, DSL and EINECS or ELINCS.
