Vycar™ 660X14

Vycar™ 660X14 by Lubrizol is an anionic stabilized, heat reactive, carboxylated vinylidine chloride copolymer emulsion. Used as a flame retardant in coatings. Offers very good adhesion, self-curing and low odor. Provides good abrasion resistance, low temperature heat curing without the aid of a catalyst and durability to washing and dry cleaning. Exhibits good toughness, film color and clarity, good resistance to discoloration from heat and light aging, and very good colloidal stability with a high degree of dispersibility. Vycar™ 660X14 imparts development of physical properties at low drying temperature. Used in MVT barrier coatings, heat sealable coatings, PE tie coats, decorative coatings for paper and textiles.
