Hycar® T-215

Hycar® T-215 by Lubrizol is a synthetic anionic acrylic copolymer latex. It exhibits excellent resistance to discoloration after heat and light aging. It shows good solvent resistance, high gloss and good pigment binding. It reacts well with melamine and urea formaldehyde resins. It is hydrophobic and offers water resistance films. Hycar® T-215 is used in clear and pigmented coatings for papers, ceiling tiles, hardboard and wood substrates as well as in wear coatings for flooring. It can be stored for 3 months at temperature 5° to 25°C.
