Hycar® 26459 by Lubrizol is a carboxylated, self-crosslinking, formaldehyde-free, acrylic copolymer emulsion. It is a stiff and highly hydrophobic polymer. It has high curing temperature and water resistance. It reduces tack and can be cross-linked with external cross linkers or with other self-crosslinking emulsions. Hycar® 26459 is used in performance coatings.
