Hycar® 26391

Hycar® 26391 by Lubrizol is a synthetic anionic acrylic copolymer emulsion. It exhibits excellent resistance to discoloration after heat and light aging. It shows high gloss, good pigment binding and good solvent resistance. It reacts well with melamine and urea formaldehyde resins. It is hydrophobic and provides water resistant films. It can be blended with softer acrylic latexes. Hycar® 26391 is used in clear and pigmented coatings for papers, ceiling tiles, hardboards and wood substrates. It is also suitable for performance and wear coatings for flooring.
