Hycar® 26172

Carboxylated acrylic copolymer latex. It is heat reactive and can be compounded with up to 100 phr of diammonium acid phosphate for flame retardant applications. It will form continuous film at room temperature if compounded with a fugitive plasticizer, such as carbitol acetate. It is anionic in nature. Used in textiles and high-gloss clear coatings. It complies with FDA regulation 175.105.
